# Pro access — check a roster of Washington CPA licences

## Pro access

One name at a time is free and always will be. This page is for the people who have four hundred of them, three times a year.

### Who this is for

Firms running peer review, staffing and recruitment desks placing
accountants, professional-liability underwriters, and anyone whose job
includes the sentence « confirm this person’s licence is
current » several hundred times a year. The Board states that this
file exists « to aid in verifying credentials and disciplinary
history »; doing that one name at a time in a browser is the part
that does not scale.

There is a seasonal shape to it, too. Roughly a third of the profession
renews each year, and every 31 December a cohort’s continuing education
falls due. Rosters go stale on a schedule.

### What we do

- **Your list, resolved.** Send licence numbers or names; get
back the status in the Board’s own words, the licence number, the
renewal year and whether an order is published, as a spreadsheet.
- **A watch on a roster.** We hold your list and tell you what
changed — what lapsed, whose cohort is coming up, who is new.
- **Direct access** to the same static index this site
searches, if you would rather query it yourself.

### What it costs

Two different things are sold here and it is worth keeping them apart. The
work above is priced on your volume — tell us the size of the list.
**The datasets themselves have a published price**, and here it
is:

- **Change feed — USD 300 / month**Or USD 3 000 a year. At every collection, what came in, went out or changed since the previous one. This is the part that does not age.
- **One slice — USD 90 / month**The feed restricted to a single county or state, for those who do not need the rest.
- **Full snapshot — USD 4 000, once**The state of the register on the day of delivery, every field included. Listed last on purpose : a snapshot ages.

The pages of this site are free and will stay free : **an official fact belongs to no one**. What is sold here is the compilation work — extracting the Washington CPA register, reconciling it, dating it, and delivering it in a usable form.

**Not a consumer reporting agency.** This site
and the datasets sold from it are **not** consumer reports under
the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and must not be used to decide anyone's
eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose
covered by the FCRA. If you need a background check, use a screening company
that operates as a consumer reporting agency.
